Fua: Living With Metastatic Breast Cancer

Meet Leofu’a (known as Fua), age 35, originally from American Samoa and now living in California with her husband and daughter. After finding a lump in her breast a year ago, Fua was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer (MBC). Since then, the impact of MBC on her body has been distressing; she’s been less physically confident and active. Being able to perform Samoan dance, an important part of her culture and upbringing, for her fearLESS campaign photo shoot was a special and uplifting experience.
