The gamble. Awake, and looking starward. Dancing is all that I’ve learned How to Do. Still, You come to talk about the shapes They push you through. I want a piece of the action, Don’t want to be honest About leaving. Gone in the ripple, Whether I like it or not. I came To be honest about leaving. Set the clock against, Every hour Will become a Cannibal. You can’t take it with you. I can’t take it with me. There’s no escaping rent In light of all this breeding. I want a piece of the action. Don’t want to be honest About leaving. Gone in the ripple, Whether I like it or not, I came To be honest about leaving. Still, In each word The beacons fire gone, The sleep you suffered, The beast you longed for. I reached under The aching ions, The sleep I suffered, The waste I long for. Home found, Then forgotten. The gamble. Awake, and looking forward. #westerman #ajackalswedding #aboutleaving
