Arts & Technology Academy

The Arts and Technology Academy Public Charter School (ATA) is a Pre-K through 6th grade urban educational center that focuses on performing, visual, and media arts instruction, which is infused with an extraordinary use and application of modern technology. Charter schools are independently run, publicly financed, and non-selective of its students. ATA has an enrollment of approximately 615 students and heavily draws from Ward 7 of Washington, D.C.'s northeast section where we are located. For the 98 percent African American and 97 percent low-income student body, ATA has designed a program to meet the needs of these children and their parents' dreams. By design, the school program reflects for students the strengths of their heritage and creates many ways for them to express themselves and to excel.
