Navimow X430 Cut Quality: Does the Lawn Comb Really Work

*UPDATE — My Lymow vs. Navimow X430 comparison is finished!* After testing the Lawn Comb, I had the opportunity to compare my X430 directly against a Lymow on my own lawn. The difference in cut quality was significant! Watch the full comparison here:    • Lymow vs. Navimow X430: The Cut Quality Di...   Can a simple attachment improve the finished cut quality of the Segway Navimow X430 or X450? In my first video, I explained why I was disappointed with the cut quality of my Navimow X430, particularly the way it tends to push grass down rather than cut it cleanly. In this video, I'm testing the Lawn Comb, an accessory developed by Josh Breton of Basement Fab Co. in New Hampshire. The Lawn Comb mounts underneath the mower, ahead of the cutting discs, and is designed to lift flattened grass before the blades reach it. I'll show you how I installed it and compare the results with earlier mowing tests conducted without the Lawn Comb. So, does it actually work? In my testing, the Lawn Comb produced a noticeable improvement in the finished appearance of my lawn. It didn't eliminate the wheel tracks or produce the same results as my Walker mower, but it did make a difference. For X430 and X450 owners who struggle with flattened grass, particularly on cool-season lawns, this accessory may be worth considering. I'm a lawn-care enthusiast in New England exploring robotic lawn mowers, real-world cut quality, and whether today's robotic technology can deliver the finished appearance I'm looking for.
