National Conference Crisis : 19 MLAs Reportedly Raise Demands Against CM Omar, Aga Ruhullah | News18

Political tensions have reportedly intensified within Jammu and Kashmir's ruling National Conference following the recent cabinet expansion. Around 19 reportedly disgruntled MLAs have raised demands for changes in the cabinet and party organisation, including the removal of ministers who have completed two years in office. Meanwhile, National Conference MP Aga Ruhullah Mehdi has announced that he will submit his resignation from both the party and Parliament on November 3, accusing the party of failing to fulfil its promises to the people. Cabinet Minister Javed Ahmed Rana has dismissed speculation of a rebellion, saying the concerns raised by MLAs will be addressed through the party forum. BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur, meanwhile, has claimed that the party is heading towards a split. #NationalConference #OmarAbdullah #AgaRuhullahMehdi #JammuKashmirPolitics #JammuAndKashmir | News18 J&K #KashmirNews #JammuNews Find the Latest News, Top Headlines, and Breaking news.
