Beyond the Stigma - Physician and Healthcare Professionals Wellness, Health, and Impairment

This 1-hour webinar, led by Michael A. Dekker, DO, Psychiatrist and MCMS Member, is designed for physicians, healthcare providers, and mental health professionals seeking to expand their expertise in the identification, management, and treatment of substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Participants will gain practical strategies to help solve the serious gaps in awareness and access to healthcare professional health programs and treatments. Discuss evidence-based outcomes and success rates of PHPs, including long-term monitoring and rehabilitation models. Recognize appropriate situations for self-referral or referring colleagues to a PHP and outline the evaluation and monitoring process.
