This video shows you how to evaluate the outcomes of your own research project for the ATHE Level 5 Research Project unit. You will learn how to judge how far your findings answer the original research problem, compare them with the literature, and use triangulation to test whether your sources agree. We explain how to evaluate limitations in sample, method, data and time, how to turn weak description into strong evaluation, and what your findings can and cannot claim. The video then covers writing conclusions, SMART recommendations, future research and changes to method. In the last part you will learn to assess significance, application and possible impact on stakeholders, with a worked payback calculation. Cases include Google Flu Trends and the Reinhart and Rogoff debt and growth study, plus templates and worked examples. Your evidence must come from your own research project, and the video explains what Pass work looks like for criteria 3.1 and 3.2. It is designed for learners on the ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business and Management preparing the Task 3 final report.
