Do THIS before planting, and the garlic will grow gigantic

If you want large, healthy garlic and onion bulbs in your garden, disinfect them before planting using a solution of baking soda, table salt, or wood ash. Additionally, wood ash can be used as an excellent organic fertilizer for garlic and other plants.
