Kumbalangi Day

Kumbalangi, a model tourism village situated in Ernakulam , the suburb of Kochi, is a model fishing village and tourism spot. The major attractions here are the Chinese fishing nets , mangrove forest , boating and other fishing activities. Kumbalangi is surrounded with the eye soothing backwaters, which makes it the ‘ cherry on the cake’. An array of mangroves separates land from water. Bait-fishing is one of the activities which I enjoyed a lot but it was a bit too 'hard nut to crack'. Bait fishing is also popular among tourists here for Pearl spot, Crabs, Oysters and other small fishes.
