We crashed the boat… a little bit. Our first days on America’s Great Loop bring docking lessons, a night at anchor, and a cruise up Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway to St. Augustine. Join us aboard our 46-foot Navigator as we travel from Eau Gallie to the NASA Railway anchorage, continue north to Halifax Harbor in Daytona Beach, and make our way to St. Augustine. We’re settling into our roles aboard, learning to work together, and discovering what everyday cruising really looks like. Along the way: Florida ICW scenery, marina stops, boat-handling lessons, and time ashore exploring St. Augustine’s historic streets, waterfront, and Barley Republic. We’re Chris and Lindsay, and this is South of Settled. We’re sharing our Great Loop journey aboard our 2000 Navigator 4600 Classic—the destinations, the decisions, and the mistakes along the way. Planning the Great Loop, dreaming of living aboard, or already out cruising? Subscribe and follow the journey. What’s one docking lesson you learned the hard way? Tell us in the comments. #GreatLoop #BoatLife #StAugustine
