Are the Jaguars a Super Bowl Team? Bucky's Blue Chip Test

Bucky Brooks marks the quarter point of the season by grading the 3-1 Jaguars against his old scouting rule: Super Bowl teams have 8 to 12 "blue chip" players who rank in the top 10 at their positions. He argues Trevor Lawrence has moved into the elite tier after outdueling Joe Burrow. Bucky credits Liam Coen for Lawrence's command of the pre-snap phase and his improved touch, timing and anticipation, which have built strong chemistry with Parker Washington, Brenton Strange and Jakobi Meyers. He also breaks down Travis Hunter's emergence as a field corner in the Jaguars' coverage system and Bhayshul Tuten's growth as a runner. On defense, Bucky praises the league's top-ranked scoring unit and standouts Foyesade Oluokun and Antonio Johnson, but says Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker need a legitimate third pass rusher to produce more. He closes with a look ahead to the Jaguars' London matchup against the Eagles.
