We read Noel Edmonds' 1980 annual so you don't have to

Can you believe its 50 years since the BBC staked a claim on Saturday Morning telly with "Swap Shop"? Your friends Ben and John at the House of Splain thought this ample reasoning to look through a dusty tome they've had in their library for quite some time reflecting both the period and its tidily bearded host. But what exactly was in "The Multi-Coloured Noel Edmonds Annual"? Well cut Noel - and, by extension, his book - open and you'll be drenched in all of his hobbies and interests such as fancy cars, fancy ladies and fancy SlazengerTM tops. And when that's done there's a load of not especially on brand items on pets, recipes, tricks, show jumping, making money, celebrity football, beauty tips, pointless personality quizzes and, of course, the pop stars of the time. Who has juicy eyes? What is the best way to make hot cheese fluffs? How many latterly disgraced sex offenders are featured within? And why is Noel so GRATE? All will be revealed in this quick and simple House of Splain readalong video! We're a small homebrew outfit so if you like this video, please tell your friends and share the link.
