We Need To Talk... #ai

Here we go again... The email we received from DistroKid is as follows. DistroKid Sep 16, 2026, 12:34 EDT Hi There, We appreciate connecting with you again. First thing here, we really apologize for the late response and for any inconvenience this has caused; we have been experiencing a larger-than-normal request volume, and we really appreciate your utmost understanding in this matter. About your concern, we've been notified by stores and streaming services that one or more of your releases has been rejected due to editorial discretion. Unfortunately, stores are no longer accepting releases from you via DistroKid. You’ll need to try another distributor for future releases. Please understand that DistroKid is unable to assist with reversing this and many DistroKid features have also been restricted as a result of this. We have no other information or context, and we are unable to get involved or take sides when this occurs. We’re just the messenger, passing along this info to you in hopes you find it helpful. We understand that this email is probably frustrating to you, and we regret having to be the messenger of bad news. However, we hope this email is helpful, and we thank you for your understanding. Best, Penny DistroKid Support http://distrokid.com Henceforth, we will be declaring AI Generated on any of our demos with Artificially Intelligent tools and software to keep our music where you can hear it. There is no way to designate the percentage of AI used on a video, only that it has been used. We feel that honesty and integrity are the most important and have always been transparent and self-declared our digital production. I have made several videos talking about this, but we will be using the official reporting system to remove all doubt. Our songs will continue to be written by my wife and I, as they have been. Pray for us and we'll keep going, just like always. America's Favorite Unknown Songwriter, Rickey Phipps
