Today it has risen to nearly 1 in 89. Despite this alarming rise, there are significant gaps in awareness, early identification systems, trained professionals, inclusive education frameworks, and dedicated funding support. The absence of a unified and accessible ecosystem continues to play an immense emotional and financial burden on families. In response, we have initiated Dr Kiron autism mission, through which we are actively engaging with NGOs, medical experts, therapists, special educators and families to understand challenges and identify actionable solutions. The Mission organized awareness sessions with evidence based ECCE approaches, therapeutic interventions, inclusive educational strategies, family empowerment and assistive technologies and inter-disciplinary rehabilitation practices for children with ASD and associated disabilities. With structured discussions, shared insights, and filed experiences, we aim to prepare a comprehensive and holistic report on autism to be submitted to the Govt and relevant authorities for informed policy action. This initiative lead to establishment of a sustainable autism support ecosystem. Support System: ● Awareness: To conduct continuous awareness sessions to parents, NGOs and Medical experts. ● Action: Develop high-quality awareness videos featuring doctors, therapists, NGOs, and parents’ real experiences and set Helpline No to reach and support. ● Accessibility: Ensure content is simple, multilingual and accessible to rural audiences. ● Distribution: Aggressively distribute through social media, WhatsApp networks and institutional channels. ● Technology: To develop App to support parents and NGOs. ● Policy changes: To appeal to the Govt. to bring changes in current policies and funding support to autism people. ● Core Collaborative Network: Creation of a dedicated coordination group for real-time coordination, knowledge sharing, and action tracking among NGOs, doctors, special teachers and parents. ● Digital Ecosystem Development: To launch and strengthen the official mission website and Integrate workshop recordings, awareness content and a collaborative digital directory of partner institutions. ● Social Media Activation: To establish dedicated handles to systematically publish awareness videos, expert insights and parent stories for mass outreach Immediate Need: ● Increased public awareness and early diagnosis rates. ● Reduced social stigma and misinformation. ● Improved access to therapies and support systems. ● Stronger collaboration between stakeholders. ● Policy-level recognition and government intervention. ● Establishment of a sustainable autism support ecosystem. CONCLUSION The Mission successfully transitioned from dialogue to direction, from concern to commitment, and from individual efforts to collective action.
