BHFD Structure Fire 11/21/24

At 1227 BHFD was dispatched for a house fire on Perkins road across the street from the station. Crews could see smoke coming from a house just south of the station. An interior attack found fire in the kitchen on the 1st floor that had extended into a soffit and then ceiling joist space. Extensive overhaul include cutting holes in the floor of the 2nd floor had to be performed to chase hidden fire. Thanks to Maple Heights, Bedford, Solon and North Randall fire departments for their assistance.
