Saher is set in the backdrop of Pre-Independent and Post-independent India. It tells the saga of Nawab Shamsher Jung Bahadur and his extended family, children, grandchildren and his undying friendship with Thakur Ranbir Singh. Amidst the Independence struggles, communal tensions, family politics and promises made and broken, it paints a rich tapestry of the lives and times in a bygone era.
