A disgruntled employee is thrilled to finally work from home two days a week. There’s just one catch: on the days he comes into the office, he now has to share his desk with “The Floater.” What starts as a small inconvenience quickly turns into a battle over space, routine and workplace dignity. Written and directed by Ruth Fowler, Have the Day That You Deserve is a sharp workplace comedy about hybrid work, hot-desking, office politics and the petty frustrations of modern corporate life. Starring Tasha Ames and Clayton Farris, this USC School of Cinematic Arts student short turns the everyday absurdity of shared offices into a painfully relatable comedy about coworkers, boundaries and losing control of the one place at work you thought was yours. 🎓 From the USC School of Cinematic Arts - discover the next generation of filmmakers. 🎬 Subscribe for more award-winning student films: ‪@RealityEndsHere‬ Follow us on the social media: ➤ Facebook:   / usccinema   ➤ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/usccinema/?hl #WorkplaceComedy #OfficeComedy #HybridWork #CorporateComedy #Coworkers #OfficePolitics #StudentFilm #USCShortFilm #RealityEndsHere #USCCinematicArts CREDITS Original Title - Have the Day that You Deserve Director - Ruth Fowler Screenwriter - Ruth Fowler Producer - Jake Nicastro Production Design - Abel Guan Director of Photography - Abel Guan Editor - Jake Nicastro Music - Sean Hoffman Cast - Tasha Ames, Clayton Farris Year - 2023 ------------------------------------- This is the place to discover films created by students at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
