Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Doll MP Debates the Special Operations (2026) Bill in T&T Parliament 18.09.2026

Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, the People's National Movement's (PNM) Opposition Member of Parliament for St. Ann's East explains why the PNM does not support the Special Operations Bill brought by the United National Congress; the party which currently forms the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. She argues that the Government is introducing hyper-policing to the detriment of the citizens, and speaks to the need for policing to be balanced with social transformation in a holistic crime reduction plan.
