Learning FPV From Scratch (It Went Wrong)

I decided at NAB that I wanted to learn FPV. Five weeks later, as an absolute fpv beginner I've crashed in a simulator more times than I can count, lost a $700 drone on a mountainside, forgot to put an SD card in my goggles, and accidentally hit slo-mo on my camera during the one moment that would have made great content. This was supposed to be several videos. It became one. This is my full unfiltered journey of how to start fpv from absolute zero — from the first terrifying seconds in the simulator to finally flying smooth at sunset without losing the drone. The goal: get good enough to fly with the GoPro Mission ILS by the time it drops in Q3.
