Weather in the Stripes

Which way did the flag face? The sun left its answer in the red. Who carried it first? Look beneath the star. “Weather in the Stripes” follows one fictional American family flag across three generations. It passes from a mill workers’ march to a harbor farewell, then flies above a schoolhouse when floodwater reaches the town. Years later, a brother and sister spread it across their living room and discover a signature neither knew was there. A five-note French horn call runs through the song. Listen for it in the violas as the ink appears, then in the solitary trumpet after the last word. #AmericanHeartlandSongs #StarsAndStripes #AmericanFlag #PatrioticAnthem #BannersOfFreedom
