【4K】Leica M10-D Elmarit 135mm F2.8 1st. Koga

Kubo Park in Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture, is a vast natural park developed on the site of a castle complex that once stood there during the 15th century. Near the center of the park, the remains of a former temple can still be seen, including several stone monuments and memorial towers. In July, the park’s lotus pond comes into bloom with Oga lotus flowers, said to have been grown from seeds more than 2,000 years old. The park also features two traditional Japanese farmhouses that have been relocated and preserved on-site, as well as a large drainage pump once used for local land reclamation projects. All of these exhibits are open to the public and can be viewed freely. The Elmarit 135mm f/2.8 is surprisingly inexpensive on the used market, yet its image quality is outstanding. I have used it before for photographing lotus flowers, and it produces exceptionally beautiful bokeh. It is only natural that modern, expensive Leica lenses deliver excellent results, but it is always a pleasure to discover an affordable lens like this that performs so remarkably well.
