FEED. by Mahlick (Official Music Video)

FEED. - Official Music Video OUT NOW! link in my bio Inspired by Carrie Mae Weems' 1992 Kitchen Series, this film explores the means of what it looks like to maintain relationships in a time of intense reclusivity and distance. While we deal with the constant chase - the hustle to survive - are we making an effort to show up for our loved ones? for self? How do we make room for things that bring us joy and fulfillment? When do we intentionalize healing - building safe spaces to be there for one another when we need it most? Thank you to this amazing, talented cast and crew. Feed. is one of the most important songs I ever wrote. Thank you for taking this story with immense passion and bringing your own personal experiences into the space. As always, I am forever grateful. -M https://www.instagram.com/mvhlick/ CAST Alexandria Davis (alexdenisedavis) Ikponmwosa Pat-Osagie (@ikpo_da_god) Kennedy Elexis (@kennedyelexis) Kendale Winbush (@ken_dread) PRODUCTION Director + Producer: Sergio Vázquez-Mora (@sergiovmora) Associate Producer: Vanessa Vázquez-Chávez (@vanessaxvazquez_) Director of Photography: Miki Inoguchi (@mikishootsfilm) 1st Assistant Director: Danny Chaidez-Rodriguez (@dannychaidezrodriguez) Editors: Ben Winter (@ben.winter) & Sergio Vázquez-Mora Production Design: Vanessa Vázquez-Chávez Gaffer: Chris Perk (@imchris_p) PA: Ian Bastida Production Company: Flat Memory Media (@flatmemorymedia) LOCATION Special thank you to @nicolevisions & @princetonbrownmusic for inviting us into your home and building a story out of your space!
