State of the Pinelands Press Release 2025

The Pinelands Preservation Alliance (PPA) released its special State of the Pinelands Report to mark the occasion of its 35th anniversary. This report offers a comprehensive assessment of the Pinelands' current state, the historical events that have shaped the present, PPA’s ongoing efforts, and the outlook for the future. Our report looks at seven core issues to our work that require never-ending monitoring and advocacy. The elected and appointed officials of the past, present, and future must be constantly reminded of the Pinelands, and the importance of the natural environment.
