IN THIS VIDEO: 0:00 - Intro / Final Look 0:25 - Materials & Tools Needed 1:10 - Preparing the Wooden Box 2:30 - Sanding & Base Coat 3:45 - Embossing the Birdhouse Design 5:20 - Painting - Lime Green Finish 6:40 - Adding Gold Clasp & Details 7:30 - Final Reveal MATERIALS I USED: • Small wooden box (pine) • Sandpaper 220 grit • Acrylic paint - Lime Green • Embossing texture paste / stencils (bird, leaves, birdhouse) • Small gold latch / clasp • Varnish / Clear coat • Brushes TOOLS: Chisel, sanding block, paint brushes, wood glue TIPS: If you don't have an embossing stencil, you can hand-carve or use stamps. Two thin coats of paint look much cleaner than one thick coat.
