Garo Traditional Snacks: Sakkin and Jakkep | Sakkin aro Jakkepko tariani

The "sakkin" and "jakkep" are traditional snacks of the Garos. The "sakkin" or the rice cake is made with mixture of sticky rice and ordinary rice, and black sesame seeds, while "jakkep" or the crêpe is made from sticky rice, and sesame seeds mixed with sugar syrup.
