The Ulti-Mate Universal Tile Vent is designed to provide effective roof space ventilation while remaining compatible with a wide range of roof tile profiles. For larger or smaller format tiles, some cutting may be required to ensure the correct fit during installation. Suitable for roof pitches as low as 12.5 degrees, the vent delivers up to 20,000mm² airflow capacity and is available in up to five cap colours to match the roof finish. For roof ventilation, spacing should be set at 2 metre intervals for 10,000mm² ventilation at eaves level and 4 metre intervals for 5,000mm² ventilation at ridge or abutment level. The vent is typically installed while laying the roof, although it can also be retro-fitted if required. Installation requires the roof membrane to be cut to allow airflow into the roof space, with the membrane folded back over the top batten. Compatible with interlocking and double lap tiles, the system can also be connected to a Ulti-Mate Flexi-Pipe when extraction is required and can be adapted for DN125 or DN150 connections.
