How can you shape your graduate studies around the environmental law issues that matter most to you?
Join Lewis & Clark Law School for a conversation about Independent Research, an elective available to students in the Environmental, Natural Resources, and Energy Law MSL and LLM programs. Through Independent Research projects, students can explore a specific area of interest through faculty-guided research, analysis, and writing. If you have ever wanted to dive deeper into an area of environmental law or explore a niche area, this elective is for you!
LLM alumna Elaina Erola (LLM ’26) will share how her Independent Research project examining wild horse management, Tribal sovereignty, and federal public lands law developed into an article published in the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation. Hear about her reasons for pursuing this project and her experience choosing a topic, working with a faculty advisor, and taking her research from an academic project to published scholarship.
