ORLANDO TRAVEL DAY 2026 | Virgin Atlantic Economy and Our WORST Hotel Check-In EVER !

Our ORLANDO TRAVEL DAY 2026 starts at Heathrow and ends with possibly the WORST hotel check-in we've ever experienced ! We're heading back to Florida, flying Virgin Atlantic Economy from London Heathrow to Tampa and the Neo, before driving to Universal Orlando's Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites. But our first day doesn't quite go to plan ! We start our morning at the Premier Inn on Bath Road, Heathrow, before heading to Terminal 3 and making our way to the No1 Lounge for a bit of relaxation and breakfast before our flight. There's time to explore Heathrow duty-free, change our seats and get ready for the long flight across the Atlantic with Virgin Atlantic in Economy. After landing at Tampa International Airport, we get through airport security, collect our bags and pick up our hire car in just an hour then set off towards Orlando. Surely the difficult part of travel day is over? Not quite! We arrive at Universal's Endless Summer Dockside Resort, ready to check in, unpack and start our Florida holiday. What follows is an absolute nightmare of a hotel check-in!
