It has two types instruments: Dispersive Spectrometer and FTIR Spectrometer. In this video IR spectrometer instrumentation components are discussed. Which includes IR radiation source, Monochromators – Prism and Gratings, Sample cells IR spectrometer is used to determine IR or infrared absorption frequencies or vibration frequency of stretching and bending vibrations in IR spectroscopy.
