Supabase gives you Postgres, auth, storage, edge functions and realtime running on your own machine in about ten minutes. So I set it up, pointed Claude Code at it, and asked it to build something interesting. What it built: a semantic sticky wall. A live notes wall where the embeddings are generated entirely locally by the edge runtime's built in GTE-small model, so semantic search works with nothing leaving the laptop.
