1912 Elgin "Father Time" Railroad Pocket Watch secret restoration

While my brother-in-law tours the United States, we secretly restore his *Elgin "Father Time" Pocket Watch from 1912*. This amazing railroad watch has a wonderful damaskeen finish along with gold settings and gold wheels. What a beauty! We can't set the hands properly and find broken & missing screws, along with some other damage. Join us as we look to bring this fine watch back to running order again. These videos feature early materials from the Watch Odyssey archives. Both videography and watchmaking skills are somewhat clunky. We are just out of watchmaking school with cameras that you have to wind, a candle lit background, and a mixed bag of used watchmaker tools that make for extra fun in those early days.
