In this first part, I'm taking you through the exact route to get there—from the village bus stop, through the shuttle bus checkpoint, the walk up the mountain to the cable car, and all the way up to Watchtower 14. In this video, I walk you through the entire journey to get onto the Great Wall: starting from the bus stop at Mutianyu village, walking through the village to the shuttle bus checkpoint, boarding the shuttle bus up to the terminal, hiking up the mountain path for about 8 minutes to the cable car checkpoint, and riding the cable car up into the mountains to arrive at Tower 14 (South Section).
