Weber (not to be confused with the famous composer Carl Maria von Weber) was a German organist and teacher of the 19th century. He was born in Crumbach, Franconia, and died in Offenbach, Hesse. He became teacher in Ginsheim in 1842 and in Rödelheim in 1848, where he also became known as organist. He moved to Offenbach in 1873 where he spent the remainder of his life. He left several organ compositions in print, of which the festive postludes opus 7 are available on IMSLP. This postlude in E flat major is marked Maestoso. Instrument: Johannus Live III, sample: Sauer - Leipzig.
