✨ *Why You’ll Love This Recipe*
✔️ Easy and quick to prepare
✔️ Made with simple ingredients
✔️ Delicious combination of sesame & coconut
✔️ Naturally sweetened with jaggery
✔️ Perfect for festivals and special occasions
✔️ Great homemade alternative to store-bought sweets
🥥 Ingredients
• 1 cup white sesame seeds (Til)
• 1 cup grated/desiccated coconut
• ¾ cup jaggery
• 2 tbsp ghee
• ½ tsp cardamom powder
• Chopped almonds/cashews – optional
• 1–2 tbsp milk, if required for binding
👩🍳 How to Make Coconut Til Laddu
First, lightly roast the sesame seeds on low-medium heat until aromatic. Roast the coconut separately until lightly fragrant.
Grind the roasted sesame seeds slightly coarse to retain a wonderful nutty texture. Melt the jaggery with a little ghee and then add the roasted sesame, coconut, cardamom powder and nuts.
Mix everything thoroughly while the mixture is warm. Grease your palms with a little ghee, take small portions of the mixture and shape them into beautiful round ladoos.
Allow them to cool completely and enjoy these delicious homemade *Coconut Til Ladoos* with your family! ❤️
💡 Pro Tips
👉 Roast the sesame seeds on low heat to prevent them from becoming bitter.
👉 Don't overcook the jaggery, otherwise the ladoos can become hard.
👉 Shape the ladoos while the mixture is still warm.
👉 Add milk only if the mixture needs extra binding.
👉 You can add almonds, cashews or pistachios for extra crunch and richness.
