Replacing the Clasp on a Breitling Aerospace

The (already replaced) latch on my Aerospace bracelet has broken again, so I fit a new one. This is a non-original part from Cousins in the UK. It's the 18mm one on this page: https://www.cousinsuk.com/product/3-f... It doesn't fit unless bits of it are filed away, on both parts.
