I labeled a semantic model in Microsoft Fabric Highly Confidential, an encrypting label, then exported the data to Excel. Does the label stay with the data once it leaves Fabric?
Reports built on the semantic model inherit the label automatically. And when the data leaves through an export, the label and its encryption go with it: the Excel file opens for people in the label’s permission list and stays locked for everyone else.
