BOONDOCKING JUST OUTSIDE OF THE SOUTH ENTRANCE TO THE GRAND CANYON

After 4 days in the Mathers Campground in the Gand Canyon, Kate and I found some boondocking just outside the entrance just on the northern outskirts of the town of Tusayan just outside the south entrance. ABOUT US: We have been "Semi-Nomads" for the past 5 years - so far. I have spent the last 6 yrs. constantly upgrading my used 2008 Pleasure Ways Sprinter Ascent which I am reaching the end of. We mostly boondock and dry camp in the national forests, state parks or BLM lands across the west. We also enjoy various Harvest Host stays as members. We search out interesting and beautiful locations to camp in and enjoy the beauty and solitude of nature across the west. IT IS MY GOAL TO: Explore the western United States from the pacific coast to the prairie grasslands and from within Canada to the Mexican border.
