Suzuki GS750E Complete Engine Rebuild Ep. 3

This video shows a complete and detailed engine rebuild for my 1979 Suzuki GS750E. I discovered that the original Suzuki workshop manual is lacking many steps and build instructions, leaving me to invent my own solutions (and tools) to accomplish the tasks. To top it off, one small sunken dowel pin caused me to redo the entire lower engine build after hours of frustration! The goal of this 3rd episode was to finish everything related to the engine off the bike before fitting it back into the frame. In this episode: • Overcoming missing manual instructions with custom garage solutions • The sunken dowel pin that forced a complete lower engine rebuild • Swapping studs for bolts to clear crankcase access • Smart DIY hacks: rubber shock mounts for piston 2 & 3 support • Accurate valve clearance setup: testing one cap at a time with lobes up/sideways In later episodes, the engine will return to the chassis where I’ll complete the rest of its components.
