Episode 3 of All Chalk No Friction takes us to one of the wildest corners of Western Australia — where the desert meets the sea on the Ningaloo Reef. I flew west, launched the tiny tender and headed off on a multi-day camping mission in search of a limestone gorge we'd heard stories about somewhere along this remote stretch of coast. With everything I needed packed into the boat, I pushed off into the unknown. I fished all afternoon, camped the night, cooked up a fresh feed on the open fire, had some good luck, some very bad luck, and eventually had to start searching for the gorge on foot, with no guarantee I'd actually find it. But after making my way deep into the desert, I was rewarded with exactly what I'd come all this way hoping to find — a giant limestone gorge filled with incredible, seemingly untouched rock and more climbing potential than I could have imagined.
