Caller Says God is LIGHT!? | Matt Dillahunty & Aaron Adair

Original Episode Here: https://youtube.com/live/dOkZpsHtkmw A caller argued that light is the creator of the universe, referencing biblical passages, biophotons, and ancient Egyptian symbolism. The hosts asked the caller multiple times to explain how it could be known that light is sentient. The caller gave a lengthy account of his religious background before addressing the question, described a study on a single-celled organism as supporting evidence, and stated that light is a "creative agent" without being able to confirm it is sentient. One host performed a demonstration turning a light on and off to argue that light being creatable meant it could not be the creator. The caller then introduced a claim about the word "matter" being derived from a word for "mother," which the hosts disputed based on a different etymology. The hosts asked why this was relevant to the original question, and the call ended shortly after.
