Atlantic Tides By Wesley Cheang Concert Band: Grade 4 I spent one of my summer vacations driving around Nova Scotia, Canada, with my family. I expected it to be beautiful, but it turned out to be even more gorgeous than I had anticipated. No matter where you are in Nova Scotia, you can sense the presence of the ocean in the cool breeze and the salty scent of the air. I do not associate the Atlantic Ocean or the movement of the tides with any particular emotion. Instead, I find that the water accompanies and amplifies whatever you might be experiencing, whether you are feeling sentimental, playful, or excited!
