In this video I model an architectural floor plan in Blender in about 13 minutes using an architectural modeling tool I’ve been developing for the past two years. The tool is built around my own C++ geometry core, which communicates with Blender and handles the geometric logic separately from the application itself. Current features include: Parametric walls with full control over dimensions Double-sided wall structure for interior/exterior materials Full UV scale, rotation and offset control Automatic wall intersections Automatic wall joins when multiple walls share the same point Parametric rectangular wall openings Openings can be resized and moved along the wall while keeping the geometry and UVs stable Basic single and double windows Basic single door Doors and windows automatically adapt to the opening size Basic slab tool The geometry core is not limited to Blender. I already have early prototypes working with Unreal Engine and Three.js, and the same concept could be connected to other environments such as Unity, NVIDIA Omniverse or web-based applications. There is still a lot to improve. The snapping system needs work, the slab tool does not support openings yet, and I want to add more door/window models, window sills and frames around openings. There is no voice-over in this video because my English is still not good enough for me to feel comfortable recording narration. For now I prefer to focus my time on coding and developing the tool. The thumbnail was created with AI. The main goal of this project is simple: make architectural modeling in Blender much faster while keeping everything editable and parametric. https:// kristeni.com
