🧠 Breakthroughs in Psychotherapy for OCD: Beyond CBT and ERP | Orchard OCD International Scientific Conference 2026 How can we make effective psychological treatments for OCD more accessible, scalable and personalised? In this session, researchers and clinicians explore new ways of delivering and extending psychological treatment for OCD — from smartphone-based CBT and AI-assisted care to metacognitive training, intensive ERP and specialist inpatient treatment. The talks examine whether digital interventions can help overcome barriers to accessing specialist therapy, how large language models might support patients and clinicians between appointments, and how brief and scalable approaches could complement established treatments. The session also explores the role of intensive inpatient ERP for people with severe or treatment-resistant OCD, including perspectives from specialist services in India and the UK. Chaired by Prof David Veale, the session includes presentations from Prof Sabine Wilhelm, Prof Zhen Wang, Prof Lena Jelinek, Prof Y. C. Janardhan Reddy and Dr Lynne Drummond.
