The house is asleep, the clock says three, and your thoughts are louder than they were all day: the unpaid bill, the appointment, the sentence you wish you had never said. If overthinking and anxiety at night keep you from sleeping, the Bible does not call you faithless. It has a name for this hour: a watch. This video stays with you in that one hour. David, Job and Asaph were awake in it too, and Scripture kept their words. Here are five things the Bible gives you to do when your mind is racing in the night, each with a verse, a little honest sleep research, and one small step to try. None of them is a trick to force sleep. They are ways to meet the hour with honesty and trust. In this video, you'll learn how to: ✅ Know what hour this is, and stop reading a night feeling as a verdict on your life (Psalm 77:4, Job 7:4) 🙏 Turn the monologue in your head into one honest sentence to God (Psalm 63:6, Psalm 62:8) 📖 Take the frightening thought captive and remember what God has already done (2 Corinthians 10:5, Psalm 77:11) 🕯️ Put tomorrow on paper and cast it on the One who never sleeps (1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 121:4) ✝️ Lie back down on a promise instead of a solution (Psalm 4:8, Matthew 14:27) Chapters: 0:00 Intro: the hour the Bible calls a watch 2:15 1.
