Thank You, Lord, for this new morning. 🙏 This collection of sung Psalms brings together songs of Scripture that greet the dawn with thanksgiving: Psalm 100's call to enter His gates with praise, Psalm 30's promise that joy comes in the morning, Psalm 108's cry to awaken the psaltery and harp, and the closing praise of Psalm 150. Each piece is an original paraphrase based on the Psalms, sung by tenor, baritone and female voices over a gentle harp, warm strings and cello, joined at times by a quiet choir and a few brief spoken reflections. The music plays over cinematic footage of King David at the harp, the image at the heart of this channel, and invites you to begin each new morning in the presence of God. Let it be with you in morning prayer, in quiet time with Scripture, or in a few still moments of worship at home before the day begins.
