Behold The Lamb

The journey continues. If His Appointed Times is an invitation to discover the gifts God has given us, “Behold the Lamb” takes us to the first great appointed time: Passover. In Egypt, God's people were enslaved and crying out for deliverance. The LORD heard them. He provided a way of escape, instructed them to prepare the Passover lamb, and commanded them to remember what He had done from generation to generation. The blood on the doorposts became a lasting picture of God's mercy and deliverance. But the story doesn't end in Egypt. Centuries later, John the Baptist saw Yeshua and declared, “Behold the Lamb of God.” The Passover story points us toward Messiah—the One who would give Himself for our redemption. This song celebrates both the deliverance God brought to Israel and the greater redemption we see fulfilled in Yeshua. From slavery to freedom. From darkness to light. From the Passover lamb to the Lamb of God. Behold the Lamb.
