Reacting to NOWZ (나우즈) “Achilles” Official Music Video, adorable salad choreo dance practice and the Studio Choom Move To Performance! I was already having a great time with “Achilles” because of that funky, retro disco sound — and then I started paying attention to what was happening in the music video. 👀 There is some SERIOUS chemistry going on here. Between the dancing, lingering looks, physical closeness and overall framing of some of these scenes, I was genuinely surprised by how homoerotic and almost BL-coded the whole thing felt at times. Maybe watching entirely too much Thai BL has permanently rewired my brain, but COME ON. You can't give me some of these shots and expect me not to notice. 😂 And thankfully the song itself is just as much fun. The funk and disco influences immediately worked for me, and I really enjoyed the whole retro atmosphere they created around it. This was such an unexpectedly fun combination of a song I wanted to groove to and a music video that had me repeatedly wondering exactly what NOWZ was trying to tell me.
