A warm autumn day in the spirit of slow living — little finds for the home, seasonal decor, time in the garden, homemade baking, sewing, a comforting meal, a walk through the forest, and wild figs.🍂 Another peaceful day filled with simple routines and little joys. I begin with a visit to a small autumn market and bring home a few beautiful pieces to add a touch of the new season to my kitchen and home. But instead of buying lots of ready-made decorations, I’d love to slowly create a cozy autumn atmosphere with my own hands. In the coming videos, I’ll be creating simple seasonal decorations for my home and kitchen and sharing ideas that you can recreate in your own home. Today, I gather flowers and sunflowers from the garden, finish sewing a dress, prepare a homemade lunch, take a walk through the forest in search of wild figs, and end the day by making homemade fig jam, baking beautiful cottage cheese rose cookies, and trying marigold flower tea for the first time. Sometimes, all you need for a good day is a little time in nature, something you love doing, something delicious made with your own hands, and a few quiet moments to simply slow down and enjoy the day.💛 Cottage Cheese Rose Cookies:🌹 Ingredients: 1 egg, 80 g sugar, 300 g flour, 6 g baking powder (or baking soda mixed with a little vinegar), a pinch of salt, vanilla, 250 g cottage cheese, 80 g butter, sugar and powdered sugar for decorating. Preparation: Mix all the ingredients and refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes. Roll the dough out to about 3 mm thick and cut out circles using a glass or cookie cutter. Place three circles on top of each other, roll them together, and cut the roll in half. Gently open the layers to shape the roses. You can dip the roses in sugar for extra sweetness. Bake for about 15–20 minutes, until golden. Dust the finished cookies with powdered sugar. Fermented Green Beans:🫙 Ingredients: Green beans, fresh tomatoes, red sweet pepper, and salt. Preparation: Boil the green beans for about 2 minutes and let them cool. For the brine, blend fresh tomatoes and red sweet pepper until smooth. Add 2 tablespoons of salt per 1 liter of the tomato and pepper mixture and stir well. Pour it over the beans, making sure they are completely covered with the liquid. Leave at room temperature for 3–5 days, stirring once a day. Once fermented, transfer to clean jars and store in the refrigerator. If you enjoy slow living, simple everyday life, and finding beauty in ordinary moments, I’d love for you to stay. Let’s slow down together, notice more, and gradually create a cozy home filled with simple handmade touches. #slowliving #autumnathome #cozyhome #simpleliving #homemadebaking #peacefulvlog #forestwalk #homecomforts #handmadehome #autumndecor
