4th WELMEC Webinar – The New Software Guides

This video is the recording of the 4th WELMEC Webinar, held on 14 September 2026, dedicated to the new WELMEC Software Guides. The webinar provides an overview of the new structure and concepts introduced by WELMEC Working Group 7, including the risk-based approach to software examination of measuring instruments. The programme covers the key concepts behind the new guides, including assets, security properties, acceptable solutions and risk assessment, as well as their practical application. The webinar also includes a practical demonstration of the Software Examination Template and its use when applying the WELMEC software examination approach to a measuring instrument.
