Upon request from the lovely Courtney in a comment of a previous video, let’s make a candy necklace inspired yarn today!
I don’t know about you but I grew up in the 90s, and the candy necklaces were all the rage back then and we were all obsessed with them!
I had so much fun making this yarn, and if you have any fun inspiration like this that you’d like me to try and turn into a yarn, please let me know in the comments, I would be more than happy to do so! It was such a fun project to work on, thank you very much Courtney 🫶

Melodie Nicolle is a fiber artist based in Caen, France.
Her works centre around softness and textures.
She creates eco conscious art using strictly vegan and cruelty-free materials. She also spins her own yarns from vegan fibers using traditional carding and spinning techniques.
As a self-taught fiber artist suffering with severe anxiety, Melodie considers her work to be a meditative and therapeutic practice, one that allows her to find beauty and meaning in each piece as she steps out of her mind and into her heart, intuitively trusting the fibers and her hands.
